weigh the pros and cons of your choices and when you make the decision you think will benefit you the most, stick to it
it's also good to have someone you trust, or someone who you believe understands the subject matter better, there to share your thoughts with so that they may provide third person feedback, but it's not a necessity. Your decisions are your own.

if neither of those works, i usually flip a coin, but i highly recommend Not doing that for important decisions
